A6 (Atelier 6000) presents monthly gallery exhibits of contemporary prints and artist books and is a favorite stop on the First Friday Art Walk. Exhibit and event information can be found at atelier6000.org.
Visit A6 this fall for “Opening Japan: Three Centuries of Japanese Prints.” This free exhibit runs September 2 through November 20, 2016. Discover the beauty and artistry of Japanese woodcuts from great masters such as Yoshitoshi, Hiroshige, and Hasui. A6 offers exhibit tours every Saturday at 4 pm ($10/person); no RSVP required. A6 is Central Oregon’s only professional printmaking and book arts studio and gallery. The studio features several etching presses and letterpress equipment, and offers 30+ local artists space to work and collaborate. A6 offers a variety of beginning and advanced classes in printmaking and book
arts, visiting artist workshops, art talks, and demonstrations.
A6 has recently moved into the historic Box Factory, in between downtown and the Old Mill District. A6 is easily accessible from the Parkway.
